Lava Films is an independent production company founded in 2010, cooperating with both debuting and experienced filmmakers from Poland and abroad. Its goal is to transform the potential of creators into debuts and new, unique works of film art. Lava Films focuses on producing films that express the artistic vision and identity of the makers, and at the same time expressing the universal values of the contemporary human being. The company is involved in projects with international potential, seeing them as the most adequate response to the needs of today's multicultural audience.
Lava Films also offers comprehensive film services, casting, searching for locations, assembling a shooting crew, obtaining permits, advising on formal, technical and artistic issues, and coordinating post-production. The services also include film workshops, making-of materials for events, music videos and fashion films. Lava Films projects have been developed within programs such as ACE Producers, TorinoFilmLab, EP2C, Passion to Market, Berlinale Co-Production market, EAVE, Ekran, CineKid, Cartoon Movie, Sheffield Doc Fest, Docs To Go, and many others.
