“Pan tu nie stał” offers clothing for everyone, household products, books and accessories. And other goofy things.
“Pan tu nie stał” is a family undertaking, what used to be known professionally as a "business marriage " It's owners are Justyna (1979) and Maciek (1982). Justyna is a graduate of the Faculty of Social Sciences (but she does not remember much about that), while Maciek also finished college (but not the one he should have finished). He is engaged in designing functional graphics: a computer graphic designer. In childhood the owners were exposed to specific visual culture to which they are now returning and which they are offering to customers with a modern twist. Their first visual stimuli - the toys, books, clothes, and objects which surrounded them - had a substantial impact on their aesthetic preferences.
The idea was born out of a passion for Polish design. Local patriotism of other owners also plays an important role. “Pan tu nie stał” is a 100% Łódź company. Almost all products are made in Łódź, their production does not extend beyond the boundaries of the county. Local themes, sometimes understood only by the citizens of Łódź, recur in the designs. Added to this, there are great collaborations with many people representing the creative sector: graphic designers, illustrators, and photographers who live in Łódź.
